EFASCE Italy visited Canada (Toronto, Ontario) on the weekend of November 7th to 9th, 2025. The president (Angioletto Tubaro), vice-president (Luisa Forte) and bishop (Mons. Giuseppe Pellegrini) met with all the families who have experienced the EFASCE program on the evening of Novemebr 7th at the Famee Furlane. The visit was highlighted by an evening dinner with the Bannia Club on November 8th and a wonderful joint collaboration with the Famee Furlane on November 9th that included a guest speaker - Frank Perissinotti on the History and architecture in Friuli. We want to give a special thank you to the Famee Furlane and Joe Zamparo the chair for making this such a memorable event and we look forward to the future and celebrating our Friulian Way.

2025 and 2026 Intermediate Course - Registration Opening Soon
Vi invitiamo ad informare i vostri iscritti e chiunque riterrete interessato che il corso INTERMEDIO 2025 - 2026 di cultura italiana e regionale che inizierà in Febbraio e si concluderà il Marzo. Il corso INTERMEDIO è adatto per chi ha già appreso i primi rudimenti della lingua italiana frequentando il nostro corso BASE o altri corsi di italiano.Vi ricordiamo che chi vuole partecipare deve registrarsi compilando il seguente modulo entro il 19 gennaio: https://forms.gle/aYBLGQeLotKekuww9. Di seguito la struttura del corso e le relative informazioni.
STRUTTURA DEL CORSO:

8 video lezioni registrate di 10-15 mimuti (1 a settimana) che si possono seguire quando si vuole;
-
8 lezioni dal 60 minuti in diretta su zoom con un insegnante (1 a settimana) orario e giorno da definire in base alle esigenze della maggioranza degli iscritti. La lezione verrà registrata e caricata in seguito sulla piattaforma così da poter essere vista anche in un secondo momento;

30 minuti a settimana di test e di compiti da svolgere online quando si vuole;

2 test intermedi e 1 test finale;

Approfondimenti tematici con video/foto sul Friuli Venezia Giulia e la sua cultura;
-
Attestato finale che servirà come prova per un eventuale partecipazione ai soggiorni in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
RICORDIAMO CHE:
Per poter partecipare ai soggiorni, che EFASCE - Pordenonesi nel Mondo organizzerà nel 2026, è obbligatorio seguire, o aver seguito, un corso di lingua italiana fino al raggiungimento dell'attestato di partecipazione.

2025/2026 ALLA SCOPERTA DELLE RADICI - DISCOVERING YOUR FRIULAN ROOTS
For candidates who have a descendent from the region of FVG and are from 18-35 years of age.
2025/2026 DESTINATION FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA (FVG) (PENDITING APPROVAL)
For families: grandparents and grandchildren or parents and children (children 12 – 17 years of age)
Each candidate with a descendent from the region of FVG will have the right to have up to a maximum of 2 family members come to Friuli.
PROJECT DETAILS:
The projects consist of TWO PHASES - FIRST PHASE: The candidate (of age) must have followed one of the Italian courses offered by EFASCE from 2020 to 2025 concluded: BASIC online course in Italian language and regional culture or INTERMEDIATE online course of Italian language and regional culture. SECOND PHASE: A 10-day cultural stay in Pordenone to rediscover the land of our ancestors and visit its historical, artistic, landscape and beauty. Gastronomy of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
WHEN: July 2026 inclusive. (Tentative dates) VISITS: Pordenone, Spilimbergo with the Mosaic School, Valcellina and Vajont, the foothills, Aquileia, Trieste with the Miramare Castle, Venice and much more.
WHAT WE OFFER: Room and board and most meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in Pordenone/Friuli in July excluding some weekends. Some meals to be paid by the individual participants – participants will be free to do as they please on some days. Transport and guided tours indicated in the general program.
COSTS TO BE BORNE BY PARTICIPANTS: Travel expenses from the place of departure to arrival in Pordenone (Hotel Santin) and return, any accommodation costs in Italy before July. Extra expense not included in the program, Medical/Accident insurance.
2025 BASIC course in Italian and FVG regional culture
The 2025/2026 BASIC course in Italian and FVG regional culture in the FAD Area is completed. The experience was suitable for those who do not know the Italian language and want to learn the basics. It will run from October to December 2025 - More information to follow.

WE REMEMBER THAT:
In order to participate in the stays organized by EFASCE in 2026, it is mandatory to follow, or have followed, an Italian language course until obtaining the certificate of participation.
