The young adults are housed at Hotel Santin in Pordenone, and generally attend excursions to various attractions and destinations within the region, including: Trieste, Pordenone, Valvasone, Barcis, and Spilembergo. This program offers young adults an incredible opportunity to learn about the land of their ancestors, first hand, and to meet and interact with students of other EFASCE organizations from the United States, Canada, South America and other parts of the world. The first delegation of students from Canada occurred over 20 years ago.

The editorial initiative is supported by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Friuli Foundation and Bcc Pordenonese Monsile. In the introduction, a valuable overview of the important historical value of the diaries by Natalia Cangi, director of the National Diary Archive of Pieve Santo Stefano and a useful historical report by Professor Marco Frigo who relates the Second World War to the ongoing conflict bloodying the Ukrainian land at this time.
In this context, our Organization offers workshops with Pordenone citizens around the world who make their work and life experiences abroad available to the participants. Social media and web reputation, marketing and communication, the jobs of the future, the climate emergency, the search for one's talent, training in the medical-health area are just some examples of the areas addressed by our fellow countrymen to help the orientation of young people students of our territory in the development of their academic and working careers.
For over 10 years, EFASCE has been organizing cultural stays in the territory of the Right Tagliamento , for descendants of our emigrants, in order to keep alive and strengthen ties with their homeland, thus also promoting the generational turnover of their contacts in the Secretariats around the world.
Born as twinning between Italian students (Liceo Le Filandiere of San Vito al Tagliamento and Istituto d'educazione Superiore di Spilimbergo) and young descendants (in Canada, the United States, South Africa and Argentina) the stays have evolved to meet the different needs of communities abroad, giving rise to multiple projects: "Youth Projects", "Young adults", "Re-Discovering Friuli" up to the very recent "Destinazione FVG" and "Discovering one's roots" supported by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venice Julia.
