EFASCE Canada History

EFASCE Canada has it's inception back in 1985 when Fr. Vitaliano Papais decided to acknowledge the importance of  preserving the immigration story of thousands of immigrants from Friuli-Venezia Giulia.  The Segretariato EFASCE di Canada became a cultural organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Pordenonesi and Friulano heritage and culture in Canada. A sanctioned adjunct of the Ente Friulano Assistenza Sociale Culturale Emigranti EFASCE Pordenonesi Nel Mondo., EFASCE di Canada was historically established to promote an interactive relationship within the Friulan-Canadian community and between the Pordenonesi of the world via social, cultural and educational opportunities, events, activities and programs.
